Water has always been my element. I’m told I was a neophyte swimmer before I began to walk. In high school, I swam competitively, joined a synchronized swim team, and continue to do synchronized swimming to this day. Some years ago, while competing in a Synchronized Swim meet, I brought along my sketchbook and found myself enthralled by the visual aspect of the meet. Thus began the Bathers Series.
